Medication compliance

Medication compliance has long since been a point of contention for medical practitioners as the only way of monitoring consistent patient adherence to the therapy is based on trust.

Not complying to the prescribed regimen can result in adverse health effects and implicitly strains healthcare systems.

This is exacerbated by the shortening of doctor appointment times, leading to a limited time that the patient has to discuss the medication they have to take and how to take them correctly.

To facilitate the communication between the doctor and the patient, we present the possibility to screen patients for compliance to medication.

Hair Diagnostix is already able to detect and profile important medication groups, for example ones used for cardiovascular conditions. Continuous research is being done to identify new medications, so that these can also be monitored.
